About
Loni Lamm, M.A., LPC, NCC, PHRI
Loni Lamm is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho. She is a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC- ID 1600225) providing professional therapy services. Loni graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
While on her own personal journey of healing, self-evolvement, and study, she entertained the internal call to sit with individuals struggling with substance use. While working closely with this population, she developed a deep interest in working with veterans, active duty, retired military members, and first responders. Loni has found fulfillment, passion, and gratitude in being invited, by her clients, to accompany them along their journeys of healing, growth, and evolution.
As the daughter of a veteran, she has a driven passion and strong desire to work with military members (veterans, retirees, and active duty) and first responders that are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, and PTSD.
Loni has experience in working with individuals at an Intensive Outpatient level of care, treating addiction, and mental health disorders. Loni also has experience in running psychoeducational groups for individuals participating in residential treatment.
Offering a unique personal experience with grief/loss and religious/faith transitions, Loni understands the complexities and opportunities that can be available with deeper exploration in these areas. While faith and/or religious transitions may seem unrelated to her areas of focus, it is not. Spirituality remains a curiously consistent component of healing whether it be in navigating grief, treating trauma, PTSD, or mental health struggles; most importantly, it is unique to each individual. Faith, as well as, religions beliefs and transitions, come with deep complexities depending on the individual; they may be pivotal in healing or sit at the root of the individual’s trauma. Loni is highly skilled in the area of assisting individuals in navigating high demand religions; each approach is unique to the individual attempting to explore this area of their life, should they express the desire to do so.
